We are improving student performance through evidence-based teaching techniques. Three labs across campuses help students in College Algebra, Finite Math, Social Choice Math, Pre-Calculus Algebra & Trigonometry and Statistics for Behavioral Sciences 1 with their understanding of course content. The labs are staffed by Learning Assistants: peer mentors who help navigate the rigors of math. We offer an alternative to traditional lecture learning and make classwork more relatable.
