Internships
Internships are a vital part of undergraduate education, providing students with the opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application. In the Department of Earth and Environment with all undergraduate programs, internships can also foster a deeper understanding of pressing global challenges, equipping you to contribute effectively to solutions that impact communities and ecosystems. See the application and supporting documents below:
- E & E Internship Application (all Earth and Environment internships require this application).
- Release of Assumption of Risk (This is required for students working in the field or other off-campus locations).
- Affiliation Agreement Non-Health Care Related (This application is required for non-FIU organizations who want to provide continuing internship opportunities for students)
- Memorandum of Cooperation for Internship Placement (This application is required for non-FIU organizations who want to provide a one-time internship opportunity for students)
If you have questions about internships contact the Undergraduate Advisor.
