BS in Environmental Studies: Agricultural Sciences
The Agricultural Sciences track within the BS in Environmental Studies degree focuses on the agricultural sciences and would be suitable for students interested in career pertaining to food production, agricultural sciences and related natural resource management (such as soils, land, water and agro-ecological resources) in government agencies, agricultural research organizations or private industries.
Undergraduate Certificate in Agroecology
The Undergraduate Certificate in Agroecology is offered by the Department of Environmental Studies in strategic alliance with Miami Dade College, MacArthur Agroecology Research Center and USDA's Agricultural Research Service. This interdisciplinary program is aimed at providing students with an opportunity to learn problems and issues that emerge from the interface between agriculture, natural ecosystems and urban areas.
