The major competencies in our Master of Science in Special Education are an extension and refinement of those developed through the undergraduate special education curriculum. Students can concentrate in autism, early childhood special education or other areas based on consultation with an advisor.
An Online MS in Special Education: Autism Endorsement Specialization is also available.
Project SPECIAL
Our program will be offering training scholarships to select students applying for Spring 2023 admission. Project SPECIAL (School Psychologists and Educators: Collaborative Interventions for All Learners), funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs, partners future school psychologists and special ed teachers planning to work with children with behavioral challenges.
