This program requires 36 semester hours beyond the bachelor's degree. Students specialize in one of the following:

  • Elementary Education
  • English Education
  • Learning Technologies
  • Mathematics Education
  • Modern Language Education
  • Physical Education
  • Science Education
  • Social Studies Education
  • Special Education

The program includes five required components:

  • Curriculum and Instruction Core (9 credits)
  • Curriculum and Instruction Elective (3 credits)
  • Research Core (6 credits)
  • Content Specializations (18 credits)
  • Professional Conference (exhibition)
