This program requires 36 semester hours beyond the bachelor's degree. Students specialize in one of the following:

- Physical Education

- Social Studies Education
- Special Education
The program includes five required components:
- Curriculum and Instruction Core (9 credits)
- Curriculum and Instruction Elective (3 credits)
- Research Core (6 credits)
- Content Specializations (18 credits)
- Professional Conference (exhibition)
