Dancing Dynamo
Daniela Chavarriaga (BS in Elementary Education '08) is the founder and director of Elite Arts Academy, coaching hundreds of dancers. With Chavarriaga's instruction, her students have brought home top honors from prestigious competitions.
Standout in Classroom and Kitchen
Education undergraduate alumnus Jordan Acosta makes a difference in young students' lives as a teacher at Calusa Elementary School. In addition to his educational role, he has also honed his expertise as a chef, running a cake business and competing in the Taste of FIU cook-off.
