This collaborative action research study will examine the effects of the implementation of the RULER approach in combination with the Visible Thinking Routines and Global Thinking Routines in Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) classrooms in Head Start Programs in Miami-Dade County. The purpose is to evaluate and advance student progress with the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for four-year-olds as measured by the Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) assessment tool.
