To comply with the Jessica Lunsford Act, all students completing field and clinical experiences in Florida must undergo fingerprinting and a background check. Placement requests in Miami-Dade and Broward counties must include the district’s required clearance verification. Students will not be permitted entry into a school without the district’s required clearance verification.
