- Who can attend the FEA Regional Conference at FIU?
This event is open to high school students in grades 9-12 who are interested in careers involving teaching and education, as well as all FIU students.
- When can I register for the FEA Regional Conference?
Online registration for the FEA Regional Conference at FIU opens on September 30.
- How can I register to attend the event?
You can register online through Eventbrite. The registration link will be available here. Please ensure you select your school from the dropdown menu when completing the form. Conference badges will be printed based on the information provided during registration.
- My school has never attended the FEA Regional Conference at FIU. How can we register?
If your school has not previously attended, please email feaconference@fiu.edu to have your school’s name added to the Eventbrite registration form.
- How can I register for the FEA competitions?
Registration for FEA competitions is by invitation only through the sponsoring teacher. The Online Competition Entry Form link will be emailed to the sponsoring teacher after the Eventbrite registration is complete.
- What are my transportation/parking options getting to the event?
Your school is responsible for transportation. Designated parking for school buses will be available on campus. For those arriving by car, metered parking is available, or you can purchase a daily parking pass for $8. We recommend arriving early to secure convenient parking. - What is the dress code for the conference?
Business casual attire is required. For men, this includes khakis or dress pants with a polo or button-up shirt. For women, khakis, dress pants, dress capris, knee-length or longer skirts with polo shirts, or dress blouses are appropriate. Participants are encouraged to wear their school's FEA chapter uniform shirts. Jeans, tank tops, halter tops, extremely short shorts or skirts, and cut-offs are not acceptable. Comfortable shoes are recommended; high-heeled shoes and flip-flops are discouraged.
- My chapter would like to tour the FIU campus. How can I request a campus tour?
Sponsoring teachers can use this link to request a campus tour after they have registered to attend the conference. The tour will start at 1:30 pm and last approximately 1.5 hours. Registration will close once capacity is reached. Registered participants will receive automated email and text messages with details about the tour.

- What is the cost of attending the FEA Regional Conference at FIU?
Registration is free of charge for all participants, thanks to sponsorship by FIU’s College of Arts, Sciences & Education.
- Will breakfast/lunch be provided?
Yes, breakfast snacks and a buffet lunch will be provided at no charge to registered participants.
- What can I bring into the event?
You may bring water bottles, sunscreen, and umbrellas. Please avoid bringing irreplaceable items or those with high sentimental or dollar value. FIU is not responsible for any lost or stolen items during the conference.
- Is there an agenda or schedule available for the conference?
A detailed agenda will be available on this website closer to the event date, outlining sessions, competitions, and activities.

- Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, printed tickets are required to enter the event.
