On March 30th, a group of undergraduates, graduates, and post docs, took a trip alongside Professor Roudenko to our neighboring university, University of Miami, to listen to Professor Bryna Kra from Northwestern University. Professor Bryna Kra is the current president of the American Mathematical Society and one of the Sarah Rebecca Roland Professors of Mathematics. Professor Kra gave a talk that fit into our department's niche well and we were grateful for the opportunity to attend.

We would like to thank University of Miami for hosting the event as well as Professor Bryna Kra for her plesant talk. It is inspiring for students and junior mathematicians to connect with the president of their professional society!
