My name is Sabrina Gomez. I was born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and moved to Miami, FL when I was 4 years old. I earned my Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology at Florida International University and went on to complete my Master’s of Science in Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology at Barry University. Upon graduation, I was an intern and eventually hired full time as a minor league Mental Skills coach for a Major League Baseball team. I later transitioned to working with the Military as a Performance Expert for the Army. One of my passions growing up was Martial Arts. I trained and competed at the regional, state and national level, earning several State and National titles. I continued training to earn my 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. I also enjoy going to the beach, traveling and spending time relaxing with my dog, Chewy. Some of my academic areas of interest include positive psychology and youth development through sports.
