Minor in Philosophy

Our Minor in Philosophy enables students to develop a degree of expertise and knowledge in an area of study in addition to their major academic program of study.

  • Courses

    Students earn this minor by completing 15 credits philosophy (PHH, PHI, PHM and PHP prefixes) with a “C” or better. Only 3 credits may be earned in lower division (1000- and 2000-level) courses.

  • Application

    Current degree-seeking students should submit the Change of Program/Plan form to add a minor. Approved minor applications will be forwarded to the Registrar for processing.
