  • Starting in Spring 2018, MAC 2311 (Calculus I) classes have common final exams. In Fall 2017, the MAC 2311 final exams contained many problems similar to those in this exam problem collection. If preparing from these, focus on understanding and general procedures (when available) rather than the specific question.   • Prof. Rosenthal's lectures are available on iTunes U. The videos were made when we were using the 8th edition of the text, so section numbers and page numbers mentioned in the videos will not correspond to your book. See the chart for more details on the contents of each video. Each instructor emphasizes different material so these lectures should be used to supplement your instructor's lectures, not replace them.

  • The University Learning Center is in GL 120. If you go and there are tutors available, you will get immediate help. Otherwise, you will have to make an appointment. The phone number is 305-348-2241. For those of you living closer to the Biscayne Bay Campus, the Math Lab there is in AC1 160 and the phone number is 305-919-5927.
  • Tutoring is available to all students by the Assistance in Academic Achievement (AAA) Tutorial Program offered by the Office of Social Justice and Inclusion in GC 216 (MMC) or WUC 253 (BBC). You may receive free tutoring, whether you are a minority or not, but by appointment only. The phone number of the office is 305-348-2436 (MMC) or 305-919-5817 (BBC).   • Prof. Rosenthal's lectures are available on DVD at the audio-visual desk on the fifth floor of the Green Library. They must be watched on the library's machines. There are two or three lessons on each DVD. See the chart for more details on the contents of each DVD. Each instructor emphasizes different material so these lectures should be used to supplement your instructor's lectures, not replace them.
  • Your course may have a designated Learning Assistant; see your professor about that.
