Mathematical Sciences (Minor)

Our Minor in Mathematical Sciences enables students to develop a degree of expertise and knowledge in mathematics in addition to their major academic program of study.

  • Courses

    This minor requires a total of 7 courses including the following five required courses:

    • MAC 2311 - Calculus I or equivalent
    • MAC 2312 - Calculus II or equivalent
    • MAC 2313 - Calculus III or equivalent
    • MAP 2302 - Differential Equations
    • MAS 3105 - Linear Algebra

    AND at least 2 of the following elective courses:

    • COP 3337 - Computer Programming II
    • CDA 3103 - Fundamentals of Computer Systems

  • Application

    Current degree-seeking students should submit the Change of Program/Plan form to add a minor. Approved minor applications will be forwarded to the Registrar for processing.
