The mission of our Educational Specialist (EdS) in School Psychology program is to prepare school psychologists to deliver comprehensive school psychological services within an urban, multicultural setting for the purpose of promoting children’s educational and psychological development.
Our program aims to produce graduates who are sensitive to individual, cultural, and linguistic differences and who value and protect the interests and welfare of those they serve.
Project HOPE-SP
Holistic Opportunities for Preparation and Excellence in School Psychology (Project HOPE-SP) equips aspiring school psychologists with the skills to provide critical mental health support in schools. Beyond the classroom, fellows gain funded training, professional mentorship and real-world experience through a partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
