Artem joined the FIU family in 2021, a few years after relocating from Southern California. Previously, Artem worked as a Senior Academic Advisor and an Academic Program Advisor at different universities in California and South Florida. In his current role, Artem oversees a team of academic advisors and student assistants at the Biscayne Bay Campus. He works closely with FIU Online programs, Student-Athlete Academic Center, Marine Biology and Physical Education programs. Artem earned his bachelor’s degree in International Studies and master’s degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine University. Artem shares his journey with his wife who he met in college and their son. They love traveling, playing sports and enjoying nature.
