Nick Vagnoni earned his BA in Humanities from New College of Florida and his MFA in Creative Writing from Florida International University. He currently teaches Writing and Rhetoric I and II, Advanced Writing and Research, and Rhetoric of Food. He also frequently serves as a mentor for graduate teaching assistants, and has helped develop his program's hybrid Writing and Rhetoric courses. While at FIU, he has also served as a creative writing instructor, a graduate consultant in the Center for Excellence in Writing, and a fellow at the Center for the Advancement of Teaching. Nick also works with the non-profit organization Exchange for Change, where he teaches creative writing classes in South Florida prisons. He's originally from Key West.
