Nick Vagnoni earned his B.A. in Humanities from New College of Florida and his M.F.A. from Florida International University. He currently teaches Writing and Rhetoric I and II, with an emphasis on exploring the writing process and the connections between thought, speech, and written communication. He frequently serves as a mentor for graduate teaching assistants, and has also helped develop his program’s hybrid Writing and Rhetoric courses. While at FIU, he has also served as a creative writing instructor and a graduate consultant in the Center for Excellence in Writing. He is a founding member of The Miami Poetry Collective.
