Israel is a two-time FIU alumnus, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2013 and a Master of Science in Biology in 2016. Israel is passionate about learning, teaching, and helping students achieve their academic goals. Prior to joining the CASE advising team, Israel was a high school science instructor with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, where he focused on teaching research skills and conservation biology. During his time as a graduate student, Israel also taught several Biology Lab sessions at FIU. In his free time, Israel enjoys exploring new places, kayaking, and spending time with his family and pets.
