Dr. Rodríguez has always been passionate about university life and connecting with others.

In 2005, after graduating from UM with a Master's in higher education, he began working at FIU. It is here that he discovered his love of IO psychology and teaching. This led him to receive both a Master's and Ph.D. in IO Psychology here at FIU.

On top of being a full-time faculty member and program director, Dr. Rodríguez is also an independent consultant in management, human resources, psychology, and communication. He has over 18 years of experience in higher education administration, leadership, management, supervision, assessment, teaching, adult learning, and presenting at professional conferences.

His research interests include conflict in the workplace, occupational health psychology, the role of culture, communication, and conflict in employee well-being and organizational development.

He is interested in the intersections of psychology, management, communication, anthropology, sociology, philosophy, economics, and leadership.
