Yasmin Rey
Dr. Yasmin Rey is a research scientist with the Department of Psychology. She is also an adjunct professor in Developmental Science at FIU. Dr. Rey received her PhD in Developmental Psychology at FIU.
She is the clinical coordinator for the EMU study at Florida International University (FIU). Her main role in the EMU study is to assist with recruitment of participants and to provide training and supervision to clinicians involved in the study. Dr. Rey also is the program coordinator for FIU's Child Anxiety and Phobia Program (CAPP), a research program that focuses on providing treatment to youths with anxiety.
Research Areas
Dr. Rey's research interests are focused mainly on the factors that play a role in the development of anxiety among Latino youth.
