Research Areas
Thomas Pitzer's research focuses on studying the role of group learning paradigms in large-enrollment courses and laboratories. I have done research in such programs as Cooperative Learning in biological labs, Peer Led Team Learning, Problem-Based Learning, Inquiry Learning, At Risk, and future teacher education.
