Zachary Pietrantoni is an Assistant Professor at Florida International University. He holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, an M.S.Ed. in Educational Psychology (School Counseling), and a B.A. in Psychology all from Southern Illinois University. Zacharyis a National Certified Counselor and Licensed School Counselor. He worked as a professional school counselor for six years in K-12 schools before moving into academia. Zachary is passionate about training professional school counselors, social justice, and multicultural competency training. His research interests are in school counselor training, human rights education, and multicultural education. He has trained clinical mental health counselors, school counselors, and teachers in Scotland, Fiji, South Africa, Jamaica, and the United States of America.
