Maria Valeria joined the Research Development Office in April 2022. She has more than 15 years of experience in project management, particularly in natural resources and development in the academic, non- government and government sector, and in the UN. She has been Research Associate at UNESCO-IHE and LSU, Global Environmental Facility Operational Focal Point for Uruguay and Coordinator of the international cooperation portfolio, and consultant at UNESCO-International Hydrological Program and FIU-Global Water for Sustainability Program, among others.
Maria Valeria primarily assists faculty and research teams from the STEM Transformation Institute and the School of Education and Human Development.
