Sepideh Mosaferi received her Ph.D. in Statistics from Iowa State University in 2022. She joined Florida International University as an Assistant Professor of Statistics in 2025. Prior to joining FIU, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Mosaferi's research lies at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, and real-world applications.

Most of my research is inspired by real-world problems and collaborative projects, through which I develop new statistical methodologies and computational techniques.
