Curriculum Vitae

Martha M Meyer’s interests are grounded in critical pedagogy related to marginalized individuals in PK-21 educational settings. She examines local, state, and national policy practices related to educational and curriculum decision-making and systemic inequities. She believes that critical dialogue with all stakeholders about education issues must occur at all academic enterprise levels for meaningful changes to occur. She encourages her students to ground themselves philosophically/theoretically and to think critically about how that grounding applies to the practicality of their work.
