Sarah Mathews has been teaching social studies and education courses for over 14 years. Her bachelor's and master's degrees are in Social Studies Education and her Doctoral degree was in Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Mathews has taught or engaged in educational research in Egypt, Kenya, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Uganda, and Venezuela. She currently serves as the leader of the Social Studies Education Program.
