Research Areas
Dr. Kravec's research focuses on understanding genetic interactions in early vertebrate melanocyte development and more currently on biology education, where her interests lie in innovative learning paradigms to increase student learning and their sense of belonging in biology. In her capacity as associate director of FLS, Dr. Kravec focuses on addressing questions of equity for all faculty and explores ways in which to support faculty for their continued success.
