Janice Hall

Postdoctoral Associate


Janice Hall is a Postdoctoral Associate in the School of Universal Computing, Construction, and Engineering Education (SUCCEED) at FIU. As an inaugural recipient of the American Society for Engineering Education’s Engineering Postdoctoral Fellowship (eFellows), she is using her eFellows award to examine workforce development and post-baccalaureate career transitions of engineers from minority-serving institutions into national laboratories. She completed her PhD in Engineering Education at Virginia Tech, with a Graduate Research Fellowship from NSF where she examined the career mobility of minority women in the Tech industry. Her research interests include diversifying the engineering workforce, workforce development, and career transitions.
