Aaliyah Gray, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor in the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies. Her work examines the socioecology of sexual and reproductive wellbeing among girls and young adult women, with particular attention to school-based sex education, access to sexual and reproductive health care, and the impact of policy on behavior. She is also a co-Principal Investigator of the Black Mothers Care Plan, an interdisciplinary community-research collaborative of the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies addressing maternal health disparities in South Florida. Her work has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ Equality, American Psychological Association, American Psychological Foundation, and PSI CHI.
