Veronica is a two-time alum of Florida International University, having earned her bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education in 2004 and her master's degree in Higher Education Administration in 2014. She is currently a fourth year doctoral student working towards a PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology. She began her career at FIU in 2012 as the SAP coordinator in the financial aid office. She is currently an adjunct instructed for the Honors College, the Deptartment of Liberal Studies, and the Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies. Prior to working at FIU, Veronica taught American History, World Cultures, and AP Psychology as a social studies teacher for eight years. Veronica is passionate about student success and empowers her students to become independent thinkers and global citizens.
