Sanku Dattamudi is a postdoctoral research scholar and currently working on various Agroecology research projects (PI: Dr. Krishnaswamy Jayachandran) at Florida International University. He also worked as postdoctoral associate at the department of Agronomy of University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he worked on projects related to soil health and management issues. He was an NSF-funded CREST postdoc at FIU from 2016 to 2018 and worked on ecological restoration of Everglades National Park.

Sanku received his PhD in Soil and Environmental Chemistry from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge in May 2016. His doctoral project was focused on different air quality issues (greenhouse gas, ammonia, and particulate matter emissions) during agricultural production in Louisiana. He received a part of his master’s degree from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) in 2010. He has several years of research experiences in soil science and agricultural crop production and would like to continue his academic career in projects related to soil quality, agroecology, sustainable agriculture and environmental quality.
