Janet Dapprich

Janet Dapprich, MS Ed, CTRS, is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Rehabilitation and Recreational Therapy Program at Florida International University, specializing in experiential and adult learning methodology. She is a Certified Recreational Therapist Specialist (CTRS) who comes with 20+ years of clinical experience.

Ms. Dapprich is an FIU alumna having receive undergraduate and graduate degrees here at FIU. She was employed in the VA Federal System for 23 years where she provided clinical care and administrative duties in a tertiary care hospital and offsite primary care clinics. In addition to duties as assigned she became known as an impassioned creator/educator consulting leaders and staff at all levels within the largest integrated healthcare system in our country.
Ms. Dapprich brought acquired skills and experience back to FIU initially as Adjunct Professor and now as an Assistant Teaching Professor. Her passion and dedication to student success and lifelong learning remain key elements of her teaching philosophy:
