Mi Ryoung Chung
Research Areas
Dr. Chung’s research focuses on sport development and sport marketing. Her research aims to understand why people engage in sport and their experiences, particularly volunteers engaging in non-profit sport organizations and the cultural factors influencing individuals’ motivations to engage in volunteering activities. Also, her studies aim to understand consumers’ experiences that would provide brand managers with alternative marketing approaches. Dr. Chung’s articles have been published in Journal of Sport Management, International Journal of Sport Management, and Sport, Business & Management. Currently, she serves as the program internship coordinator.
