Victor Buitron
Dr. Buitron is a clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychology housed in the Center for Children and Families. His research is focused on youth suicide prevention. In this domain, he is interested in developing psychosocial interventions, the study of maladaptive interpersonal cognitions, and contextual factors affecting underserved populations. Dr. Buitron’s work is supported by funding from the National Institute of Mental Health.
