Alfredo José Bayuelo Sierra

Alfredo Bayuelo is currently affiliated as a research specialist at the Institute of Environment at Florida International University. His interests are primarily related to Intelligent Systems and Robotics, including but not limited to: algorithms, artificial intelligence applied to multiple disciplines, autonomous vehicles, and education. He received his Ph.D. in Computer and Systems Engineering from the National University of Colombia. Before joining the Institute of Environment, Alfredo worked as a software developer for 15+ years. Also, Alfredo has taught programming skills for over 20 years to a diverse audience, ranging from programming enthusiasts to office users and undergraduate students participating in programming competitions.
