Research Areas
Elena's research interests include increasing the accessibility and cultural responsiveness of mental health services for youth and families from systematically marginalized communities. She intends to collaborate with communities to: (1) evaluate mental health service delivery models that increase access to care in both clinical and natural settings and (2) investigate how to best support community professionals (e.g., after-school staff, teachers, therapists) in implementing culturally-responsive EBPs.Education
