Research Areas

Keara is a doctoral student in the Clinical Science program at Florida International University (FIU) and a member of the Early Childhood Behavior Lab (ECBL). Keara is broadly interested in treatments for children with developmental disabilities and their parents. Specifically, she is interested in 1) the role of parenting and parental psychopathology in child development and treatment outcomes, 2) emotion regulation, 3) early intervention/prevention, and 4) the use of community-based participatory research and telehealth interventions to reduce disparities in mental health care.
