Students holding a full-time TA or RA position (20 hours per week) are automatically enrolled in the university's subsidized health insurance program. The student has to pay 25% of the total premium. Students with a full tuition waiver (part of a full-time TA or RA) are responsible for paying additional charges per credit hour and a semester fee. The university has a payment plan that allows these fees to be paid over the course of the semester. All full-time students are expected to register for at least 9 credit hours per fall/spring semester and 6 per summer semester.
