Program

The Doctor of Education (EdD) program in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies is designed for students who wish to pursue leadership roles in educational institutions. The program requires the completion of a minimum of 75 semester hours of academic work beyond the baccalaureate degree. The curriculum is designed to enable students to become familiar with and utilize effectively both theoretical and technical knowledge. The program of study is multidisciplinary and integrates broad intellectual perspectives into the study and practice of educational leadership and policy studies. 

The student is responsible for a minimum of 15 semester hours of dissertation credits. All doctoral students must be continuously enrolled in a minimum of three (3) dissertation credits each term following advancement to candidacy until graduation.
