Tim Aylsworth earned a BA in philosophy at Texas A&M, and got minors in Spanish and Religious Studies. He also earned an MA in philosophy at Texas A&M. He went to UW-Madison for his PhD, and wrote his dissertation on Kant.
Research Areas
His main area of research is the philosophy of Immanuel Kant. He is particularly interested in his concept of freedom. He also works on early modern philosophy more broadly, and has a variety of interest in ethics (both applied and normative).
