Philip completed his BA in Psychology at FIU. During his studies, he had an opportunity to work with children struggling with various externalizing disorders in a clinical setting. Realizing the importance of understanding child psychopathology, he wished to continue refining his research skills and experience while maintaining a strong clinical focus.
As a research assistant for the EMU Study, Philip can continue his passion in exploring research while learning how to better outcomes for youth suffering from psychopathology. As a research assistant, Philip helps the project coordinator to direct day to day activities within the lab. He is also working on the PCORI grant as coordinator, working between Nicklaus Children’s clinical setting and FIU’s research setting.
