Dr. Rochelson earned her PhD in English from the University of Chicago and specializes in Victorian and Late Victorian Literature and Culture, Anglo-Jewish Literature and Culture; Jewish Immigration Literature and History; and Women's and Gender Studies.

Research Areas

Dr. Rochelson serves on the Senior Advisory Council of the Nineteenth Century Studies Association, and she reviews manuscripts and fellowship applications for a variety of journals, presses, and organizations. At FIU, She serves on the Breaking the Glass Ceiling committee of the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU, and is affiliated with the programs in Jewish Studies and Women's and Gender Studies. Her manuscript Eli's Story: A Twentieth-Century Jewish Life will be published by Wayne State University Press in the summer of 2018.
