Dr. Hector R. Fuentes is a full tenured professor of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering and Associate Chair for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of FIU at the College of Engineering and Computing. Dr. Fuentes has been with FIU since 1992. Among other research efforts, he has been studying the quantitative impacts of sea level rise on the hydrology and hydraulics of the coastal surface and groundwater resources.
