- Student Teaching: education programs offer a 525 hour internship with Student Teaching, SCE 4944, where students gain experience in the classroom
School of Environment, Arts and Society
- Film Internships: opportunities to work with the Coral Gables Art Cinema, the Miami Jewish Film Festival, and FilmGate
- Internship at Blue Frontier: Marine Conservation, open to students who want to work 16 hours per week or more helping with outreach, conference, administrative, and fundraising efforts
- Latino Heritage Internship Program: positions are available for latino students interested in working in National Parks
- National Endowment for the Humanities Internships: provides support to students for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the humanities
- Zoo Miami Internship: providing experiential learning as well as outreach on conservation science and tropical biology
School of Integrated Science and Humanity
- Center for Children and Families: as part of their clinical practicum, psychology majors can apply to become part of their summer internship
- Center for Women's and Gender Studies: meet the eligibility criteria and apply for placement within several organizations including Equality Florida, FIU Women's Center, City of Miami Commission on the Status of Women, and others
- Clinical Experiences: field experience, counseling practicum and internship placements within psychology departments
- Educators and Naturalists Internship: A paid internship opportunity with the Deering Estate for students of various disciplines to develop and execute community outreach programs within educator and naturalist roles
- Forensics Internships: the International Forensic Research Institute offers internship opportunities with DNA Laboratories International, Inc., the Toxicology Division in Miami, among others.
- The Professional Internship Program: intended for undergraduate and graduate Physics students to interact with world-class scientists and equipment while expanding their knowledge and exposure to basic and applied research
- National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) Professional Internship Program: designed for undergraduate and graduate students who want to learn about the challenges of conducting energy research
- Psychology Internships: apply for an opportunity to do your practicum and internship in Professional Counseling Psychology
- Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship with the U.S. Department of Energy: for students studying advanced materials, clean energy, national security, neutron science, nuclear science and supercomputing
