My name is Lili Solorzano. An immigrant from the northern coast of Colombia, I have been a Miami native since I was 3 years old. I am an FIU double alumna, earning my Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and then later my Master of Science in Physical Education: Sport and Exercise Science at FIU. I am a certified running coach and enjoy working with inactive adults in setting and achieving running and exercise goals. For over 13 years I have worked in higher education administration, with a focus on advising and mentoring high ability students, including student athletes. My research interests include exercise adherence and motivation in special populations and behavioral strategies to increase physical activity. I enjoy training and running marathons and any time I can spend near our beautiful oceans. My husband and I are proud parents of three active young girls and our 80lb golden retriever, River, who still thinks he’s a puppy.
