Atomic, Molecular & Optical Physics

We study cavity quantum electrodynamics, atomic coherence and interference in multilevel atoms, and light manipulation of neutral atoms. We also explore quantum state manipulation and control of photons and atoms in addition to application in quantum and nonlinear optics.

Our projects include cavity electromagnetically induced transparency, quantum control of coupled photon and atom states, nonlinear optics at low light intensities and coherent spectroscopic measurements.
