Congratulations to Dr. B M Golam Kibria, for his Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Jönköping University, Sweden. Dr. Kibria received this honor for his outstanding contribution in the field of statistical sciences and for the promotion of the academic quality at the Jonkoping University. Professor Kibria was one of three recipients of honorary doctorates awarded this year at Jonkoping University’s Academic Ceremony on October 8th, 2022. He is known worldwide for his research on “Ridge Regression”, and has been involved in the editorial board of many international statistical journals including Communications-in- Statistics A, B, and C. Since 1993, Professor. Kibria has about 240 research publications, many conference proceedings and co-authored two books.
