None of this would be possible without you. With your help, the work we do will continue to make an impact locally, nationally and globally. Join us in protecting our planet, inspiring explorers and igniting discovery. Please consider making a contribution to our priority funds today.

  • Designated Giving

You may designate your gift to any fund that is particularly meaningful to you. A designated gift may be made to an existing fund or endowment.

Please contact the CASE Advancement Team to discuss the funds that are available to match the level of impact you would like to make.

  • Donor-Advised Funds

Recommending a gift to CASE through your donor-advised fund is a simple way to give back while diversifying your philanthropy.

If you have questions about the information you need to provide to the sponsoring organization of your donor-advised fund, please call the CASE Advancement Team.

  • Endowments

Endowments are vital in creating and sustaining important initiatives - scholarships, fellowships, faculty positions, research and programs. When a donor invests in FIU to establish an endowment, they create a legacy that will provide permanent income to support a meaningful project, thereby advancing the university’s excellence in its priorities in perpetuity.

Depending on an individual passion or interest, the endowment can be focused or wide-ranging. The principal of the gift is invested and grows over time, while quarterly distributions provide a steady, reliable source of income to the designated program. This ensures the gift will provide benefits year after year, generation after generation.

For information on creating an endowment, please contact the CASE Advancement Team.

  • Estate & Planned Giving

Planned gifts, including bequests and life income gifts, are designed to help you meet your financial and charitable goals while supporting CASE and FIU in the long term.

For information about Estate and Planned Giving, please contact the CASE Advancement Team. You can also consult FIU’s Planned Giving FAQ page.

  • Faculty & Staff: Payroll Deduction

Ignite the curiosity of learning in students and the discovery of groundbreaking research. Faculty and staff can support any program within CASE with an easy one-time gift or through the recurring payroll deduction gift option. Your recurring biweekly payroll gift will truly make an impact on our students and programs.

Please make your gift to one of the FIU Ignite Giving Opportunities.

If you have specific questions about CASE faculty and staff giving through FIU Ignite, please contact the CASE Advancement Team directly.

  • Gifts-In-Kind

We encourage and welcome gifts-in-kind, such as computer hardware and software, industry equipment, laboratory supplies, works of art, books and other tangible personal property that the university would otherwise need to purchase. Through gifts-in-kind, supporters help the university strengthen programs and improve facilities to provide the best possible educational experience to our students.

While these types of gifts are often received from businesses and corporations, individual donors also contribute many types of gifts-in-kind.

Please contact the CASE Advancement Team for more information and instructions.

  • Giving Societies

FIU has six societies that honor the generosity of our donors whose cumulative giving to the university totals $50,000 or more.

Please see FIU Lifetime Giving Societies for more information. If you have questions about FIU/CASE lifetime giving societies, please contact the CASE Advancement Team.

  • Matching Gifts

Many employers offer matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled.

  • Real Estate

Donors who wish to create a legacy at CASE and FIU can transform their real estate holdings into a meaningful gift for the university. A gift of real estate is a great way to seed funding for an endowed faculty position, student scholarships, or to provide program enhancements. We consider accepting all forms of real property.

If you have questions or would like to make a gift of property, please contact the CASE Advancement Team.

  • Securities

Gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds and mutual funds provide great benefits and are welcomed forms of making outright gifts.

Please contact the CASE Advancement Team for more information and instructions.

  • Tribute/In Memoriam Gifts

A tribute gift is a meaningful way to convey sympathy to the bereaved, memorialize a loved one, commemorate a special occasion, or honor a person’s life and accomplishments.

You may designate your gift to any fund - including to new or existing endowment funds - that is particularly meaningful to you, the occasion or the honoree.

For information on creating an endowment, please contact the CASE Advancement Team.
