Center for Children and Families

Office: AHC4 480

Phone: 305-348-9977

Guadalupe Patriarca received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from FIU. Throughout her time with the university, she has worked on clinical research programs with the Center for Children and Families, including with kids suffering from anxiety disorders, depression, and selective mutism.

She continues her passion of working with families and science as the coordinator of the EMU study. Her priority is to make sure kids feel comfortable and have fun during all the study visits. She talks to the child participants about how they feel and think, gets kids ready for scanning in the fMRI room, and stays over at Nicklaus Children's Hospital to make sure that all the kids have a comfortable night's sleep.
