Teaching and Learning; STEM Transformation Institute
Saeed Moshfeghyeganeh is a postdoctoral associate in in the Department of Teaching and Learning and the STEM Transformation Institute. Saeed’s interest lies in the effect of culture on identity formation and intersection of multiple identities (i.e., race, gender, spirituality) on pursuing physics. In addition, Saeed is interested in student centered physics curriculums and teaches introductory physics courses using modeling instruction. Saeed’s research goal is to understand cultural factors that make physics accessible and promote diversity in the field of physics. Saeed tries to understand cultural factors facilitating or impeding minorized groups from pursuing physics and using this knowledge to improve diversity in the field of physics.
